You will not survive* around here if Chasing Hip Hop is your only source of news, current events, radical thought or guidance.
Although Chasing Hip Hop is mind bending, trend setting, brilliant, opinionated, understated, real, conscious, compassionate, revolutionary and could easily snatch the proverbial veil of ignorance from over your blood-shot eyes, it is FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.

Rule #3.
Read a book! Read a book that you were not already FORCED to read ((ie: church books, school books, work books are all FORCED reads; requirements of survival)).
PLEASE NOTE: While they provide that special kind of fun dirty posh gossip full of criticism and accolades; for all intents and purposes of the cipher, Magazines will herein be referred to as periodicals, not LITERATURE.
You're not required to read Langston Hughes or Marcus Garvey ((although it would help, seeing as most of us read that in elementary school!)) Just find a book, sit down and read it.
Rule #4.
Again…the music. I can't stress this enough. Chasing Hip Hop is extremely well rounded. Alternative sources of music genres ((ie: jazz, blues, classical, country, rock, reggae, billboard popcharts, r&b, ska and emo)) will also be discussed, appreciated, showcased and provided FOR YOU. It is important that you understand and agree to these terms.
So turn that ((your)) shit off!

Bullshit, hatred, ignorance and the what not... will not be tolerated.
